Many people take issue with some of the things President-elect Donald Trump has said about women, particularly his penchant for objectifying the fairer sex. He's publicly graded women on a numerical scale based on their sexual attractiveness and shamed them for not fitting traditional beauty standards. It makes sense that feminists are incensed over this sort of thing, actually.

Google made a bad bet on Clinton

Submitted 7 years ago by ActRight Community

The folks at Google bet heavily on Hillary Clinton to win the election. They poured millions into her campaign, volunteered and hosted fundraisers as a way to show their unwavering support for her in what could have only been an effort to secure the same kind of behind-the-scenes access and influence in the next administration they have in the current one. It was a bad bet. Over the last eight years, Google's had virtually unfettered access to President Obama's administration. Company executives enjoyed lavish parties and regular contact with the highest-ranking people in the executive branch. Personnel seemingly moved from one entity to the other and back on a regular basis. More than 250 individuals have left the government for Google or vice versa during Obama's tenure. This kind of integration with one company and the executive branch is extraordinary.
