Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA), who is facing a recall election, is interviewed by "The Sacramento Bee." Newsom defended his tenure by telling Florida and Texas to "eat their heart out" over the job creation in California.
"It would be nice if our homegrown team would be focusing on what's right. Everybody outside this state is bitching about this state," Newsom ranted to the writers.
"Guys, forgive me, I know I am a little pointed today but I've been taking a lot from you folks for a lot of months," Newsom said gesturing toward the reporters behind the camera. "I should be able to express myself, too."
"I'm a future ex-Governor," he acknowledged. It could happen in a few weeks, it could happen in a few years. I love this damn state."
"Did you know, Stephanie, that middle-class families in Texas pay more taxes than middle-class Californians?" Newsom asked a reporter.
"Look that up. That's a fact. I don't know why that doesn't get more damn attention," a frustrated Newsom said.

Progressivism Surges Through America’s Law Schools — The James G. Martin Center for Academic Renewal
Law schools in the U.S. used to be run by no-nonsense individuals who, whatever their personal politics, thought that their institutions existed to teach students about the law, not to engage in advocacy or speculation. That began to change in the 1980s, as some younger law professors started to push into previously forbidden terrain, introducing … Continue reading "Progressivism Surges Through America’s Law Schools"
