Salon Struggling to Pay Rent

Submitted 7 years ago by ActRight Community

Apparently the leftist digital rag known as Salon is having trouble paying its rent, according to The New York Post: A landlord who late last year evicted Salon from its New York offices for nonpayment of $90,000 in back rent is now trying to force the digital publisher to pay more than $700,000 for the unused portion of a five-year lease that is slated to run through September 2019.

According to The Hill, the State of Illinois has designated August 4 Barack Obama Day in the state. It is expected to be celebrated every year beginning from 2018. This is similar to North Korea, where the  birthday of the founder of North Korea is celebrated on April 15 annually. The 'Day of the Sun' has been called the North Korean equivalent of Christmas. People must bow down to statues of the former leaders of North Korea on the day of this occasion and engage in state-enforced activities and military marches. North Koreans bowing to a statue of North Korea's leaders Spiked in 2009 warned us against the Obama cult of personality. 8 years later, things are just getting started. This is proof that America is becoming run by Marxists. Our Presidents are not Gods. They have term limits and are required to follow the same laws as us. We should not be treating specific presidents in a God-like manner like we are doing with Barack Obama. With Hillary losing, we closely avoided nepotism where being in family means you are 'deserved' to have certain positions in our government. We live in uncertain times indeed.

The theme of NBC’s Meet the Press on Sunday was all about complaining how “broken” U.S. politics have become under President Trump. According to the stacked anti-Trump panel, most of the blame belongs to the “anti-intellectual” of “the extreme of the right-wing.” In the mix, Hillary super-fan Andrea Mitchell couldn’t help but smear the Republicans who were critical of her beloved Hillary. Yet she found herself thanking ‘Republican’ Senator Jeff Flake for standing up to those who chanted “lock her up.”
